Aionia Black is sourced solely from olive groves in the renowned Messenia olive region of Greece, from award winning suppliers (New York International OOC, London International OOC, Berlin Global OOA, Athena International OOC, Olive Japan OOC).
This Extra Virgin Olive Oil is sourced exclusively from olives of the Koroneiki varietal, sustainably dry-farmed without irrigation to produce a more concentrated taste. This method also ensures eco-conscious cultivation that respects the land. Our olives are harvested within the first 15 days of November each year and cold-extracted immediately upon harvest using advanced machinery to ensure maximum quality, health benefits and flavor.
Aionia Black is a premium quality Extra Virgin Olive Oil. It blends a high Polyphenol count (415mg/kg, considered an excellent grade) with an ultra-low 0.25% Oleic acidity, conferring both exceptional flavor and anti-inflammatory benefits to all who enjoy it.
Every drop carries the legacy of centuries-old cultivation and we are deeply proud of our product. Many of our customers compliment the hints of green olives, aromatic herbs, and peppery finish characteristic of early-harvest Koroneiki olives.
